Our Story
Neighboring Light was founded by Nigel Hudson out of a desire to do good for the community especially the homeless, and the elderly. By giving useful bags filled with vital necessities for personal hygiene and self-care, Neighboring Light helps provide a ray of kindness in difficult and uncertain times. What we pack into each bag:
Each backpack contains many items that we could easily take for granted, yet are vital for good health. Inside the bags are a toothbrush, toothpaste, bath towel, face cloth, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner, kleenex, lip balm, brush and comb, nail care set, razorblades and shaving cream, skin moisturizer, bath wipes and baby wipes, deodorant, toilet roll and a bottle of water. Once enough bags are assembled we deliver them directly to those in need.
Neighboring Light provide support in the community of Los Angeles and California, through public donations and volunteers our work is made possible with the kindness and generosity of the American people. Donations and dedicated volunteers make our charity events regular and they have become a vital supply of hygienec bags, food drops and much more amongst the local community of homeless and elderly people in L.A.
